Cafe or dining room. Try Indian Lunch Buffet in New Edinburgh
In the dining room - Not cafe. I went with a group. One ordered from the menu which was easily done and others had the lovely lunch buffet in the very welcoming space.The presentation was lovely and the various protein and veggie choices at the pristine selection of Indian delights just excellent. Dhruvees: delicious buffet and special mini masala dosa!
I've just visited Dhruvee's for the first time and have to extend a big thanks to the staff! My friend (vegetarian) and I both had the buffet for lunch and also ordered the paneer butter masala. On the buffet were such offerings as pea pulao, tandoori chicken, fried mutton, daal, pumpkin curry, egg curry, vegetable korma, and other appetizers and dishes. Everything we tried was delicious! The dishes were varied in their spice levels, but nothing above a medium spice, which is about my level. When we were unsure what bread to have with the paneer butter masala (paratha, chapati, or dosa), our host offered to let us try each. Each was made fresh and arrived hot, but the mini masala dosa with sambar were an absolute treat for someone who hasn't had dosa in ages (and definitely my pick!). We appreciated the bright, yet comfortable interior of the restaurant in hues of yellow, turmeric, and orange. Super Food, Super service
My husband, a friend and I went last night. It was fantastic. The food was superb and unique. Very genuine food. As was the server and the owner. The owner came to our table and took the time to explain some of the more unique flavours and techniques of 3 different countries. It was very informative. We will definitely be back. A night to remember at Dhruvee’s
Dhruvee’s truly caters to every need. Whether it’s an auspicious occasion or you’re looking to have a nice relaxing dinner. The wide range of their menu truly amazes me as they do not compromise on any dish at all. Moreover, the customer service is impeccable. Every member of the team is willing to go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable experience. One thing that really stood out to me is their awareness to all members of the community. They had a special iftar menu for the month of Ramadan where they offered authentic signature Indonesian prepared by an Indonesian chef too. I would definitely recommend visiting the restaurant and treat yourself to great service. One of a Kind
This warm and friendly restaurant is one of a kind because it gets everything right: food service, atmosphere, price range, cleanliness, decor...The menu is unique as it offers dishes from different South-Asian cultures, something rarely if ever found in a single place. Taking their cue from an out-going and courteous owner, the staff are lovely and attentive. This is a place where one wants to become a regular. Amazing South Asian food.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service so friendly and efficient. The ambience was so beautiful and calming that we could have lingered all afternoon. We most definitely will be back many times. So glad that you are in our neighbourhood.
